Anthea & Velasco's PIllz imprint is knocking it out of the park in 2023 and this time it is the UK duo of Duowe & Picasso who step up to the plate. They run their own label Fraise Records and offer up here the same sort of spaced-out and gritty peak time tunes they have become known for. Electro and techno are fused into something new from the off with the alien sounds of 'Pink Dust' demanding you dance. 'Timekeeper' gets all worked up into a metallic world of drum clatter and edgy melodies then 'Mucky Bit' layers up squelchy bass sounds and roaming pads with a cosmic feel. The final groove cruise is 'Unattracted Space', with its celestial shimmer and slick beats.
